How do I enable/access the revamped User Directory after updating?
Navigate to User Frontend → Modules from your WordPress dashboard and activate the User Directory module. All new features and settings will be available under the User Listing submenu.
Is the revamped User Directory compatible with my existing WP User Frontend setup?
Yes! Your current shortcode and setup should keep working without any issues. However, the old layouts will be replaced with modern, visually appealing designs. Instead of the old settings, you’ll use a new setup wizard to create your directory.

To keep your existing user roles and meta fields, we’ve added a migration system. You’ll see a notice for the upgrader. Click it, and the process runs in the background. A new item will appear in the User Directory menu, without affecting your existing directory.
Can I display custom user fields in the directory listings and on profiles?
Absolutely! Add unlimited custom fields from the backend and then select exactly which fields appear in your main listing table and on individual user profiles.
How can I control which users appear in the directory?
When using the setup wizard, simply choose which user roles to include or exclude with an easy dropdown menu. If you prefer shortcodes, add parameters like roles_include="role1,role2" or roles_exclude="role1,role2" to the [wpuf_user_listing] shortcode. If you're using the new Gutenberg block, you can set these options right from the block's settings panel on the right, no shortcode tweaking needed.
Are the new design templates responsive and mobile-friendly?
Yes! All User Listing templates and Profile Header templates are fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices. Your user directory will look great on all screen sizes.
Can I customize the avatar sizes and gallery images?
Definitely! You can customize both avatar and profile gallery image sizes to match your site's design requirements. You can also easily enable or disable avatars completely with a simple checkbox setting.
Do I need coding knowledge to set up the User Directory?
Not at all! The User Directory is designed to be user-friendly with intuitive settings, Gutenberg blocks, and easy-to-use shortcodes.
